Wheelchair Safety and Accessories Vipamat ensures that all Marathon wheelchairs come equipped with multiple safety features. Dual armrest nets safeguard the user’s hands, while a net between the seat and footrest secures the feet. A safety strap creates a connection between the pusher and the user.

Wheelchair wheels enable rapid acceleration on roads. Slim tires, designed with an optimized rolling surface, enhance performance for the Hippocampe Marathon and Trail. Available as an option, all-terrain wheels enable the Hippocampe Marathon to become a hiking wheelchair, compatible with trail running or hiking.
Disc brakes with removable wheels
The disc brake system provides reliable stopping power. An innovative locking and wheel removal system simplifies the process of wheel detachment and replacement. This feature allows for the quick disassembly of the sports wheelchair, minimizing space when stored.

Marathon wheelchair Options
Customize the Hippocampe Marathon and Trail to fit your needs with a variety of options: an adjustable headrest, harness, belt, rain hood and umbrella. Adapters are available to alter the pusher’s hand positioning. For off-road adventures, consider adding a pair of trail wheels. Store personal items conveniently in the back bag. Two bags are also available to store the wheels or the complete wheelchair for easy transport.
